Music and Drama Clubs
There is a strong music tradition in Oban. It ranges from classical music events to traditional Scottish music.
Oban Music society is a voluntary organisation run by local people dedicated to bringing high quality chamber music and musicians to Oban.
There are several choirs locally including Oban Bach Choir and Orchestra, Oban Gaelic choir and Taynuilt Gaelic choir.

Traditional Music
Feis Latharna run the annual Easter Fèis, a teaching festival of traditional music, dance, gaelic song and drama for young people, aged 8 to 18 who live in Oban and Lorn, and provide weekly group classes during term-time.
